MEPZCEM Chamber, Inc. continues to stand firm in its mission of service and solidarity, reaching out to communities stricken by the devastating floods brought by Typhoon Tino.
In partnership with Lear Phils, Inc., the primary support for relief goods, and with the invaluable contribution of fellow members Nippon Express Phils. Corporation, Nihon Fuji Multi-Products Corporation, and the aid of MEPZTRA, relief distribution was successfully carried out last January 24, 2026 at Sitio Nangka, Cotcot, Liloan—one of the hardest-hit areas.
Through this collective effort, around 300 families received sacks of rice, canned goods, and biscuits. More than just supplies, these brought hope, comfort, and reassurance to families who have endured immense loss and uncertainty.
This initiative reflects the spirit of bayanihan—the Filipino tradition of communal unity and cooperation. It is a testament to what can be achieved when organizations, partners, and communities come together with compassion and purpose.
MEPZCEM remains committed to advocating relief assistance and long-term recovery support. Beyond immediate aid, we continue to explore ways to help affected families rebuild their lives, restore dignity, and regain stability.
We extend, once again, our deepest gratitude to our valued partners—Lear Phils, Inc., Nippon Express Phils Corporation, Nihon Fuji Multi-Products Corporation, and MEPZTRA—for their generosity and unwavering support. Their contributions have not only provided relief but have also uplifted spirits and strengthened resilience in the face of adversity.
Together, we affirm that service, unity, and compassion are the cornerstones of recovery. MEPZCEM will continue to be a beacon of hope, ensuring that no community is left behind in times of crisis.
