Please be advised that the Bureau of Customs (BOC) is currently reconfiguring its electronic system to ensure that the updated three-year accreditation validity is accurately reflected on all generated Certificates of Accreditation.
Current Status & System Validity
While some newly issued or printed certificates may still temporarily display a one-year expiration date, your three-year accreditation is already fully active and valid within the BOC system.
BOC Assistant Commissioner Atty. Vincent Philip Maronilla has officially assured all stakeholders that the system backend has already been updated to recognize the extended three-year period. Your ability to lodge entries and transact with the Bureau will not be disrupted by the text displayed on your current certificate.
Next Steps
- System Update: The IT infrastructure is being updated to correct the printable certificate templates.
- Reissuance: The BOC will automatically generate and issue updated certificates showing the correct three-year validity once the system reconfiguration is complete.
- Action Required: No immediate action is required from importers whose accreditations have been approved under the new three-year policy.
